World Mental Health Day, 10 October
World Mental Health Day 2023 is an opportunity for people and communities to unite behind the theme ‘Mental health is a universal human right” to improve knowledge, raise awareness and drive actions that promote and protect everyone’s mental health as a universal human right.
Good mental health is vital to our overall health and well-being. In Australia, around 1 in 2 people will struggle with their mental health during their lifetime. Mental health conditions are affecting an increasing number of adolescents and young people.
Beyond Blue and Black Dog Institute are two Australian organisations offering resources online to support us in looking after our mental health and wellbeing.
