World AIDS Day 2023

World AIDS Day arrives as AIDS-related deaths have fallen by almost 70% since their peak in 2004 and as new HIV infections are at their lowest point since the 80's. UN secretary-General António Guterres highlights this progress in his video message for World Aids Day, observed 1 December, but warns that AIDS still takes a life every minute.
