Season of Creation

The first day of Spring in Australia, 1 September, is the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation and marks the beginning of the Season of Creation (1September-4 October).This year's theme "To hope and act with Creation" calls us to renew our hope and commitment to protecting the environment.  

How might we live out this theme?

Pope Francis invites us to live "a life that becomes a song of love for God, for humanity, with and for creation, and that finds its fullness in holiness."
