For People Living on the Margins

Pope Francis requests prayer and action for those “for those people who live on the margins of society in inhumane living conditions; that they may not be overlooked by institutions and never considered of lesser importance.” Among those he considers on the margins are the homeless. 

The Mercy Foundation, a ministry of our Mercy congregation, has a special interest and content expertise in the issue of ending homelessness, working with other organisations across Australia to support evidence based solutions to end homelessness for individuals and families who are experiencing it.
